I love this house and the decor, but I the house isn't showing up in my game. The decor included has been added to my catalog but the house itself hasn't...any suggestions?
Yes hun, you'll need to in the Sims 2 Installer click on the small house and the top and then install just the house alone. That's what you'll actually want to do always, that way you can be sure that the house will show.
In the future do install the house first then the content.
No problem. Yes, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. If I remember correctly it was a while before it happened to me and even then I thought it wasn't showing because of my PC or something on my end.
after downloading&installing this cute-sweet house I CAN'T OPEN MY SIMS ANYMORE..!!!!!i do the doubleclick, the window with the play button shows up, i do the doubleclick there too, to play BUT NOTHING...!!!! WTF SHOULD I DO NOW?! i can't unistall the house without having contact to the game!!!! Now i have to uninstall the whole game, to delete the 14.000 objects-skins etc. i have only because of that?!
Giota I don't appreciate you speaking to me in the manner that you did. As far as I know no one else has had a problem with any of my houses, they are really simple houses. I don't include any hacks and all that. So..if you are having a problem it is most likely on your end and its just happens to coincide with you downloading this house. My game plays fine so think about it!!!! If it were my house wouldn't my game be messed up?!
You can delete this house by going to your EA games folder and going to neighborhoods or Lot Catalog. Use clean installer so you can see exactly what house you're downloading.
Now!! Don't leave me messages to only bitch about what you don't know about, when I've never even seen a thank you message from you. Got it?!

It's okay, I'm sorry too. I just get so tired of seeing people berate creators for something that is most likely not even their fault. When you download anything off the internet you have to know their is always a risk and just deal with it.
The thing is I never have any problems with my game crashing or anything because I limit the things I put in it and I don't load it till its about to burst if you know what I mean. I know my limits or my pc limits lol! Hope I didn't just jinx myself eek.

Tara i agree i love all your houses,i to am having the same problem the housr wont show up but the contents do,and i did do what you said i click the house icon first and downloaded it and then the contents but when i went to the house it was a mess and just about everything in the house was maxis contents.none of the firniture or the clutter was your's i have some oh your houses but this one and Richmond Ave,i have the same problem with.thnks for your lovley houses there beautiful!

I honestly cannot be responsible for houses or content not showing up for anyone. All I can do is create the house and package it and upload it. I have no control over anyone else game, only mine. Anything that anyone downloads from here is at their own risk.
Just in case it helps though, make sure to again install the house first and then tick select all file, untick house. Choose install, untick default installation, click on arrow that says teleport,choose downloads, click on arrow that says sims2tmp, click package, untick generate sims2import file.
If that doesn't work then...I just don't know what to tell you....
First, Tara, I absolutely love your content and the homes. I initially had a problem with the content in the download crashing my game, but isolated the problem and the game starts fine. Now, when I try to open the house, the game closes. Which expansion packs are required to use this house? Thanks...I'm planning on recreating the house from pictures, but figured I'd ask just in case.
